Mark IIa is the bondage chair pictured below, with a few revisions based on experience and user requests, and a few minor aesthetic changes. First of all, it's a non-self-bondage version. This brings the price and complexity down a little, as well as dispensing with the liner straps, which served little purpose other than using up a lot more leather. The buyer now has his choice of the X- or Y-harness straps. It has adjustable elbow rests with straps, a revision made to the first chair when Richard sent it back for repairs. Another change Richard requested resulted in taller bands in the sides, allowing the lower thigh straps to be attached to the sides, rather than the seat, which restrains the knees a little more firmly apart. Also, a mistake when I was making it led to 1/2" wide slots for all the straps, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. And the tops of the back rails are about 2" longer, which just looks nicer. There are a few structural changes to the legrest and the seat to make it stronger and more stable, along with using 3/4 hardwood ply throughout, instead of the 1/2 used on the seat, back, and legrest as before. Oh, and it's black. For some reason people prefer that. It DOES look fucking evil in black.... I built two of these at once before the Folsom Street Fair, and one of them sold AT the Fair for $1500. (The wide angle lens makes it look like the back rails are uneven, trust me, they're not) |

A very elaborate self-bondage chair based on the original by Mark of SeriousBondage.com (www.SeriousBondage.com), it's ergonomicly designed, highly adjustable, and comes with different strap sets for male and female users. I figured the gray would be an interesting color to use, just to prevent the typical black on black on black you get in most bondage photography. It was interesting because most people who saw it asked if it was made of metal, just because it was this Battleship Gray. New copies of this chair include all of the improvements in the Mark IIa. This includes wider straps without the lining straps, adjustable elbow blocks with straps, a thicker neck block, Panel-style doors, and reinforced guides for the seat and back. You can have one of these built for your dungeon in 6-8 weeks for $2000.

Shipping for either of these items will vary between $125 on the West coast to $175 on the East Coast, and comes in 5 boxes totalling around 110 lbs. International shipping is possible. Wooden crating would be additional, of course.
